It is by geographic location, history, population and induced economic-tourist one of the largest centers of the Tyrrhenian Messina band. Situated on a double hill close to the Tyrrhenian Sea, Patti is located in the center of the homonymous gulf that heads from Milazzo to Cape Calavà. It is the fourth most important and populous town in the province of Messina, after the capital and the centers of Barcelona Pozzo di Gotto and Milazzo and is the main urban pole of the entire Nebrodi district, followed by Sant'Agata di Militello and Capo d'Orlando . The city, as well as being a historical site of numerous institutions, administrative offices and services and of public interest, is also the episcopal seat of the diocese of Patti, one of the oldest in Sicily, which includes the 41 municipalities of the nebroider area of Oliveri Tusa. The municipality of Patti is part of the Tindari-Nebrodi Inter-communal Consortium. The origin and history of Patti are closely linked to the decadence of the ancient Greco-Roman city of Tindari, today its hamlet and one of the most important archaeological and devotional sites of Sicily. . The physiognomy of the town is very developed with a large historical center perched on the hill around the Cathedral, the bishop's palace, the seminary and other historic buildings, which slopes down to the coast to its seaside village called Marina di Patti (today completely integrated into urban fabric).
The property is about 35 km from the port of Milazzo.
