The waters of Telese Terme have a very ancient tradition.
Sulphurous springs appeared after the earthquake of 1349 which caused the spillage of mineral waters.
Soon their fame spread, having proved to be of great use in the treatment of skin diseases, digestive system, respiratory system and rheumatism.
The first publication on the topic "De acidulis telesinis dissertatio" by Tommaso Bruni followed in 1819 by Pietro Paolo Perugini's "Memorie sull'indole and the use of the mineral waters of Telese" by Pietro Paolo Perugini in 1834 and in 1857 "Medical Guide for the Use of Telese Mineral Water" by Liborio Marone.
The waters of Telese Terme are sulphurous mineral waters that contain bivalent sulfur in a state of permanent transformation similar to that contained in all cells of the human body. Interaction with the one present in our organism generates a mixture of chemical-physical-biological and therapeutic benefits that are not found in other waters without sulfur or contain it with other valences.
