Brusson and surroundings
The municipality of Brusson is located along the Val d'Ayas, between the town of Challand-Sain-Anselme in the valley and the mountain of Avas upstream. Probably the name Brusson derives from the Latin "bruxeum" which means aurora; the mountains around the country, in fact, are mostly made of aurelic quartz. The Tchamousira mine, which is now depleted because of its massive use by the English company The Evan ¢ on Gold Mining Company Ltd., can still be visited today. In the Middle Ages, the territory was part of the Abbey of Saint Maurice d'Aguane patron of the Commune) located in Valais, but it was actually used by the lords of Challand, who claimed to have kept it in the fief from the abbey since 1263. In the 1920s a dam and an artificial lake were built to feed the central hydroelectric plant located in Isollaz. Contrary to what is usually the case, the presence of the blue water reflection and the green of the surrounding park have helped to enhance the area.

Animazione ottima. Abbiamo trascorso splendide serate a fare giochi divertenti e coinvolgenti anche per i ragazzi.
Cucina molto buona. Pane e dolci fatti dal cuoco stesso.
Il tutto contornato da uno splendido panorama.
Vacanza indimenticabile!
Indubbiamente da consigliare.
